Terms
These terms cover this website and how Sofol Digital works with you. They are written in plain English. A signed spec, once you approve a preview, is what we actually build.
Last updated 27 August 2026.
Who we are
Sofol Digital Pty Ltd is based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Director Steven Gaskill runs the team. Contact: hello@sofol.digital.
This website is an invitation to talk. Submitting the form is not a contract to build, and it is not a payment.
Using this website
Use the site lawfully. Do not submit someone else’s details unless they asked you to. Do not try to break, scrape or overload the site. We may take a page down or ignore a lead if we think it is spam or abuse.
Copy on this site is ours. You may share a link. You may not copy the site or our mark as if it were yours.
How an engagement works
If we both want to go ahead, the usual path is:
- you leave your mobile and we call you to scope how you run
- we send a written plan: what is in, what is out, and the price
- you e-sign that spec
- you give us sample data and access so we can build the preview
- you try the preview. You can walk away
- you approve, then pay the launch fee and the first month
Until you approve the preview, you owe us nothing for the build. After payment we aim to have it live within one to two weeks. That is a target, not a penalty clause.
Fees
Prices on this site are in Australian dollars and exclude GST unless we say otherwise. We are registered for GST. GST is added on invoices. Current launch pricing:
- Launch — $3,500 plus the first month, after you approve the preview
- Stay on — $249 per month: hosting, backups, chat, up to 4 hours of new work
- Grow — $499 per month: everything in Stay on, up to 12 hours of new work, and your requests go first
There is no minimum term. Cancel anytime with 30 days’ notice. Work beyond the monthly hours is quoted first. You only pay that extra if you approve. We do not take payment on this website. After you approve, we will send a payment request.
If the preview does not match the signed spec, you do not pay. If we have put it live and it is materially not what you approved, you may ask for a refund of the launch fee within 14 days of go-live. Monthly fees already used for hosting are not refundable.
Your responsibilities
You will:
- give us true information about how you run
- get permission before you send us other people’s personal information
- provide access, sample data and feedback in a reasonable time
- keep your logins safe, and tell us if someone should lose access
- pay on time once you have approved
You are responsible for how your team uses the system, and for complying with your own industry rules (for example working with children checks, or how a club talks to parents).
Third-party systems
Connections depend on the access the vendor makes available, and on credentials you provide where they are required. Their outages, fees and terms are theirs. If they change or withdraw access, we will tell you and quote a change if we need one.
Intellectual property
You keep your name, logo, data and content. After you pay the launch fee, you own the custom system we built for you under the spec. We keep our methods, templates and tools, and we may reuse non-confidential know-how on other work.
You grant us a licence to use your materials solely to scope, build, host and support your system. We will not use your customer or member lists for our own marketing.
Confidentiality
We treat your business or club information as confidential. You treat our unpublished pricing, specs and previews as confidential. This does not cover information that is already public, or that we must disclose by law.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a consumer guarantee applies and cannot be excluded, then it applies. Where we are allowed to limit our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee, we limit it to supplying the services again, or paying for them to be supplied again.
Liability
We take care, but software can fail. We do not promise uninterrupted service from us or from third parties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit, lost data, or indirect loss. Our total liability for a paid engagement is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
We are not your lawyer, accountant or bookkeeper. A plan we write is operational, not legal or tax advice.
Monthly plans and ending them
Stay on and Grow keep the app online and cover a set number of hours. Unused hours do not roll over unless we agree in writing. Email hello@sofol.digital to cancel. The plan runs to the end of the 30-day notice. After that we may take the app down. On request we will help you take a copy of your data and system. That help may use remaining hours or a quote.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top is the current version for this website. A signed spec and any written change we both accept sit on top of these terms for that job. If they clash, the signed spec wins for that job.
Governing law
The law of Victoria, Australia applies. Courts of Victoria have jurisdiction.
