This policy explains what Sofol Digital does with personal information. We keep it short and in plain English.

Who we are
Sofol Digital Pty Ltd is based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Director Steven Gaskill runs the team. We build software for Australian businesses and sports clubs. This website is sofol.digital.

What we collect
When you ask for a call, we collect the details you give us: name, mobile, email, suburb, organisation, and how you work. If we work together we may also hold a spec, files you send, call notes, invoices and payment records.
We do not ask for passwords to your existing systems on this website.
Why we collect it
We use it to call you, scope the work, send a plan, build and host a system if you approve, keep records the law requires, and understand which ads sent you here.
We do not sell your details. We do not buy or sell marketing lists.
How we collect it
Mostly from you: this site, email, messages, and the call. If someone refers you, we only keep what they were allowed to pass on.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only as needed to host the website, manage communications, run the business, take payment after you approve, and meet the law. That includes trusted service providers who help us do those jobs. We do not sell it, and we do not let them use it for their own marketing.
If a later build connects to a product you already use, that product keeps its own privacy terms.
Overseas disclosure
Some of those providers store or process information outside Australia. We only use them to operate the site and the business.
Cookies and ads
The site needs basic cookies to work. If ads are running, those platforms may collect page-view data so we can see if the ads work. You can block cookies in your browser. The site will still load.
How we look after it
A person in Melbourne reviews every plan, every preview and every go-live. We take reasonable steps to keep information secure. We do not run a client portal on this site.
How long we keep it
If we do not work together, we keep the lead while it is useful, then delete it on request. If we do work together, we keep records for as long as Australian law requires.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@sofol.digital. We will answer as soon as we reasonably can. We may need to keep some records if the law says so, or if we still host a system for you.
Complaints
Email us first and we will try to sort it. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
We may update this policy when how we work changes. The date at the top is the current version. The live page on this site is the one that applies.
